The bus is made by TI. It is mainly used to display and manage battery correlative applications, which include portable aptitute mobile telephone, PDA, MP3 and etc.

HDQ protocol analyzer is included free in the software package for LAP-321000U-A and LAP-322000U-A.

It can be purchased as option for LAP-32128U-A, LAP-16064U and LAP-16128U.
